Holy Technology Batman

Clearly I’m not as tech savy as I thought I was. Today is the first time I’ve stumbled across teledildonics. And all I can say is "wow!" For those not in the know (basically me), teledildonics is where sex, computers and virtual reality come together to make sweet, sweet love. Cybersex taken to a whole other level.

There are a few different products out there that work in varying ways, but the two kinds that I really had chance to wrap my head around were sex toys that can be remotely operated by computer and toys that work in tandem using computers to match their movements. How cool is that!

California-based Sinulate Entertainment sells a collection of Sinulator toys that can be totally operated by computer. In their words, they offer a “complete interactive adult system that includes everything you need to let anyone on the planet control a wireless sex toy using only a web browser.” All the controller needs to know is what the toy has been named by its owner. Then using a flight-simulator looking dashboard, someone across the world can flip a switch and make your rabbit flicker faster or slower.

Sinulate also has their own webcam community where people can link up with others who have Sinulator-enabled toys and not only watch them get off, but actually control their toy.

Also out there are toys like the Interactive Fleshlight, a sleeve packed with sensors that record each movement via computer. Then there are two options. Either the computer hooks up to an interactive 3D video game and a virtual character gets screwed in real-time by the Fleshlight-user, or it can be pair up with a real life webcam girl and her interactive toy that can work in tandem for real-time fucking via technology. When he thrusts into his toy, her toy thrusts into her. Geek analogy of the hour: The Rumble Pak of cybersex!

This stuff is a little pricy ($130-$150 range), but hey, what isn’t? The major downside of both these toys is that they are only Windows compatible. What, us Mac users aren’t ready for some cyber lovin?!? Bad form!

Anyway, if this is what they’ve come up with now, can you even imagine what will be around in ten years! I wonder if this stuff will ever be available at Best Buy or CompUSA… hmmm.
