Movie Review! Real Sex Magazine - All Masturbations
Watch the Video
At first, I wasn't quite sure what to expect with a movie titled "Real Sex Magazine: All Masturbation". I wasn't in the mood to see perky blondes with huge fake breasts screaming what sounded like bloody murder as they over did orgasm after orgasm. I was pleasantly surprised with this film; the director gave each woman an opening interview, asking them about where they were from, their background in the industry, and what turned them on, what they fantasized about etc. After giving a once over on their bodies, the stars just got to lie back, and get themselves off in whatever way worked for the, whether it was just a hand, a dildo, a vibrator, or even humping pillows. These clips are real women, really masturbating, and really giving themselves real orgasms. They come from all over the country (world in fact) and different backgrounds, but their scenes just show them enjoying getting themselves off. What a wonderful, real, enjoyable and refreshing look at the women in the pornography industry!

Movie Review! Alice in Wonderland
(The 70's adult version, we ain't talking Disney)
When I stumbled across this movie, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I didn..t want to watch some old 1970's throwback, and it looked a little too..weird? I mean, come on, a 1970's porno MUSICAL??? But I had heard good things about it, so I decided to give it a chance. I'm not going to lie, I thought the first about 10 minutes were pretty boring, and when I saw the humans dressed as some kind of animals pawing at (petting?) Alice..s body, I was about done. But I persevered; I am a true porn connoisseur; I do not stop when slightly skeeved out. And Im glad I kept watching! From the humpy-dumpty Ding-A-Ling sing along to the Mad Hatter (whose hat number referred to the size of his..dormouse?) to the Queen of Hearts who wants Alice..s head..meaning she wants Alice to give her head, this film is hilarious, and quite enjoyable. Remember that the 1970's were pre-silicone, pre-bleach blondes, and pre-form written porn. There aren..t many cum shots, and the blowjob and intercourse scenes don't last forever, nor are the male stars all super well hung, but the stars seem to genuinely enjoy themselves, and as they sing over and over again, you have to listen to yourself to know what makes you happy! I'm not saying this is my number one pick for getting down and dirty, but it definitely deserves to be checked out!

Movie Review; Strap Attack, the Rules Have Changed
My first strap-on movie ever, and it looks like I chose a good one. While I wasn't initially impressed with the first scene, I pushed on, and "Strap Attack 2 - The Rules Have Changed" was a definite hit. I really enjoyed the second scene with the two women penetrating the guy, as well as the scene with Holly Wellin - it was awesome how much the guys really got into it and were really enjoying. For my first strap-on experience (and by that I mean virtually or in real life), I thought this was a great, enjoyable, realistic introduction to the world of strap-ons and women penetrating men. There weren't a lot of bells and whistles, but there were a bunch of stars having a blast (in more ways than one), and that's all I wanted to see… good clean fun (in a manner of speaking).

HotmoviesForHer.com To Offer New Exclusive Column By Girlfriends Films' Sydni Ellis
Check it out now! Between Takes by Sydni Ellis on HotmoviesForHer.com
Philadelphia, PA - HotMovies.com is thrilled to announce their women's site HotmoviesForHer.com will be featuring a new exclusive weekly column "Between Takes", by Sydni Ellis from the top lesbian studio Girlfriends Films. As a writer, director and performer for the studio, Sydni will provide first-hand insight to the adult world and dispel common negative rumors held by some women.
"Society has a double standard when it comes watching porn - men are expected to watch it, but women should feel ashamed for enjoying it. Many women would never admit that they enjoy porn, and most women who don't enjoy porn have probably not had the opportunity to find movies that turn them on,” says HotmoviesForHer.com's chief editor Monica L., aka Venus Vegas on the site.
"I'm honored and very excited that Sydni will be contributing and working more closely with us. Having someone who is working in the industry in such a female-positive way offering her perspective on our site gives our users a more personal connection to what they are watching, which is important to a lot of women."
Sydni Ellis of Girlfriends Films agrees. "Women love porn as much as men do, they just don't like porn that insults their intelligence or grosses them out. We're dedicated to giving our female fans what they want, and we listen to their feedback. Hotmoviesforher.com is proof that women are coming out of the closet when it comes to loving porn. We've been so happy with the way their fans have responded to our films, that it seemed natural for me to do a column here. They are the only VOD site we've authorized to show our films. We just like what they're about, and they've been a pleasure to work with."
HotmoviesForHer.com offers movie reviews by women, sex tips, sex toy reviews, erotica and an Editor's Spotlight blog, in addition to HotMovies.com's full catalog of over 55,000 titles featuring female handpicked titles. These titles include Girlfriends Films, whose movies feature real lesbian sex, not just "girl-on-girl".

Pony Blinders
I'm just going to take a shot in the dark, but I'd assume that most people have tried, or at least wanted to try some sort of blindfold during sex play. Well, look no further, this blindfold is the cream of the crop. With a fuzzy inside to make it feel even more super sensual and a special design that keeps it from pressing up tight against your eyes (which can definitely get old after a while), it totally blocks out ALL the light, and as we all learned in grade school at some point, when you lose one sense, it makes all of the others way stronger. I'm going to have to admit my 5th grade teacher was right; all my other sensations became SUPER strong...I listened for every noise, and jumped when I was touched. This is a great thing to get if you and your partner are interested in trying new things, but don't want to start with anything too intense. Give it a try, and if you like it, time to move onto all of the other amazing sensation toys that are available in the wonderful world of sex toys.

Masturbation For All! Part 1
I want to explore my body more, but I'm not sure where to start? Is there a special way to masturbate?
-Suffering Solo!
Masturbation is a subject that is traditionally not talked about as much among groups of women as it is between guys, probably because it used to be (and kind of still is) very taboo for a woman to masturbate at all, let alone admit it to another. Well, I'm reclaiming masturbation. I masturbate!!!! And for those of you women out there who do so as well, awesome! And for those of you who tried it, and it wasn't your thing, good for you! And for those of you that haven't tried it yet, hopefully this will encourage you to go give it a try if you feel so inclined. Ok, enough kudos... on to the juicy bits.
Tons of women masturbate. Kinsey's studies proved it, and Cosmo proves it in a more modern association. Women like to get off, it's true. There are TONS of names for female masturbation. Some of my choice favorites include; ringing Southern bells, clicking the five fingered mouse, crossing the mason-dixon line, visiting the little man in the canoe, tip-toeing through the two-lips, misstressbating and jillin' off, just to give you a little taste. The point it, you're not alone. Your friends (at least someone them) probably do it. Your co-workers probably do it. I hate to break it to you, but your mom has probably at least tried it. It is nothing to be ashamed about, and I think it's ridiculous that people don't talk about it. Masturbation, in my opinion, is amazing, and I want to share it's wonderfulness with everyone. And I'm starting with you.
The lovely thing about being a woman (well, one of many) is that when it comes to masturbation, you have a schmorgasboard of things to try. Studies have demonstrated that they have yet to find two women that masturbate in the EXACT same way, in the same order, etc. So see, we're like snowflakes. Masturbating snowflakes.
You can always give a go at the hand; an oldie but a goodie. There are all sorts of things you can do with your hand; you can use your fingers to stimulate your clit and lips at various speeds and pressures. You can use the palm of your hand to rub against your mons pubis (that cute little bump that is naturally covered with hair). You can lie on your whole hand and rub your body against it; there are so many things to try, and that's just on the outside.
While research says less than 2% of women masturbate ONLY using penetration, lots and lots of women like a little penetration with their outer stimulation, and we all know that we were born with fingers for a reason. You can play with the opening of your vagina, or stick one, two, or how every many fingers you want into it. Once inside, more choices! Move them around, bend them, keep them still. It's like choose your own adventure, except the ending is way more exciting. And remember, you have two hands, and a very advanced brain; you CAN multi-task. Some people also like to use one hand to play with their nipples, hair, lips, neck, ears, and more while doing it.
However, that's not all folks! There are tons of other ways to misstressbate (oh, check me using my favorite terms!). Have access to a bathtub with a faucet? Well, you're well on your way to joining the ranks of the O-army. Some women like to lay on their back with their feet up against the wall with the water from the bottom faucet running on their clit and other lady bits. I myself have a personal fondness for the massaging shower head (although I realize now that mine didn't move, and I had to do the back thing as well…but they sell ones that you can take off the wall and move around. How technology has changed things), and my friend's mother finally told me that she had discovered hers, and it's helping her get through her divorce.
Not into water? How about the women that rub up against things? You can place a pillow on a bed, couch, etc, and lie on top of it, rubbing against it. Or put on a pair of really tight jeans and straddle the arm of a couch (don't even get me start on tight jeans and washing machines…). Arm of a chair, corner of a rounded table, you name it; if you can rub up against it, I bet you some woman has done it.
As you can see, there are tons and tons of ways to get yourself off, all requiring next to nothing. It is very important to remember that this is you time; do what feels good to you, explore your body, try out new things. You might not always (or even ever) get to orgasm. If you do, great, but if not, remember that this is a journey, and shouldn't be goal based.
Oh, what's that? You wanted to know about toys? Well, I am a huge fan of all types of toys as well. But sadly, I only have so much space, and I want to keep you reading, so keep your eyes open for masturbation part two; toys, toys, toys!
Enjoy yourself!

Review of "Joanna's Angels 2 - Alt. Throttle"
Watch the Video
Studio: VCA Category: 2007 AVN Award Nominee
As I perused the videos nominated for the 2007 AVN awards, I came across "Joanna's Angels 2 - Alt Throttle". This spoof of Charlie's Angels had everything I enjoy in a porn movie; hot girls with piercing, tattoos and fun hair colors, an attempt at an amusing plot, a good sound track (with music from none other than Rancid), and of course, lots and lots of sex. At first, I was thrown a little by the ditziness portrayed by the Angels, but as I thought back to the original, I remember how well they were parodying the antics of the first Angels. The scenes in the oval office (both those with and without the interns) were amusing, as was the curing of the president's baby after she had been brain washed. Also enjoyable was the motor cycle chase, complete with stunts by Tommy Pistol. Best of all, none of the stars took themselves too seriously, which made it a really awesome and fun to watch movie. While certainly not a Hollywood blockbuster, this film was a treat to watch, and warmed the cockles of this little Alt. Girl's heart.

Sex Tips: Ill Communication
I timed this one special to make sure you and your partner can improve your sexual communication just in time to heat up this cold, cold weekend!
Ok, so last week I read your tips on how to give hints to your partner about better sex, but if we have trouble communicating?
-Too Shy
Oh communication, you fickle thing. Who knew that one had to communicate with their partner in order to have great sex? I know I'm already distracted enough by how I look, how I feel, what music is playing, who brought the latex and lube, and whether my parking meter is expired to have to suddenly start thinking about how to properly communicate with my partner. Sex is exhausting and thought consuming; who has time to really even talk about it? And even worse (and maybe this is just my own insecurities), I hate the idea that I might sound bossy when 'communicating' and don't want to turn my partner off.
Too bad for me and the rest of us. Communications is a necessity for good sex, and it's high time we talked about talking. I mean, we all have some form of communicating with other, right? So how come the second the clothes start coming off, we forget how to express our beliefs, opinions and needs? What is it about relationships (and/or naked bodies) that makes us clam up?
Communication is important in all arenas of a relationship, from who does chores (and how you feel about it; I know I hate taking the garbage out, but I bite my tongue and do it anyways) to how often you're sexually active. Sadly, assumptions tend to be made a lot. If your partner is super busy, you might assume that they don't have time for sex. Or they might assume the if you're in bed, you must want to have sex, even if all you want to do is finish that last chapter of your book.
Even worse, sometimes we think we're communicating, but we're really not. Let's say I told my partner "no, not tonight, I'm not in the mood". Maybe I'm really upset about something that happened at work, and want to talk about it, or I'm angry about something my partner did (like making me take out the trash?), but all my partner hears is that I don't want to have sex. I'm not being honest with myself or them. It's possible my partner might even think I find them unattractive, when really I'm just upset that I didn't get a promotion. It's miscommunication like this that can really cause problems, but it happens a lot, mostly because it's hard to expose your feelings, especially if you see it as weak.
It can be even harder to talk and communicate about sex, particularly what you want, because it is sometimes viewed as selfish or bossy. Therefore, we sometimes sit back and just take whatever our partner gives us, whether or not it feels good. And that's no fun (unless you like faking orgasms, and even then, that's what Rocky Horror Picture Show is for). But it's so hard sometimes (at least for me) to say "can you try that a little softer" or "to the left..no, my left".
If you feel uncomfortable talking about what you don't like (such as above), try focusing on what feels good - "I really like it when you go faster/use ice cubes/slide 3 fingers in and out really slowly". You don't even have to say it in the moment; when you start making out, or whatever it is that you do to indicate sex, you can definitely whisper into your partner's ear. Too raunchy? Try telling them the general acts you like; "I like it when you go down on me/I love it when you scratch your fingers across my back".
Still too shy to talk? Luckily, we have the ability to use awesome body language to let people know how we're feeling. Crossed arms mean we're upset or uncomfortable, eye contact can mean we trust or respect the person we're talking to. To bring body language as communication into the bedroom, you don't have to be a stereo-typical female porn star; yelling, moaning, screaming, and thumping the walls. However, you do have to give your partner feedback. If something doesn't feel good, you can move their hand (or move your body, so that their hand is in a different place). If you like being kissed on the neck, try kissing them on the neck; maybe they'll take a hit. When something feels good, give them signals (that are natural to you; again, screaming is not required) to let them know they're doing the right thing; pant loudly, moan deeply, arch your back, close your eyes and throw your head back, move your body closer to what they're doing.
Communication is hard always, and sex is even harder, but there are so many ways to communicate, and so many issues that are resolved by letting your partner know what you like and don't like (and this goes both ways too; feel free to ask your partner if what you're doing feels good, and what they like, and so on), whether verbally, by moaning, or by using body language to show them how you're feeling. Communication takes time and trust, but I know that with enough practice, you and your partner will be on the same (or similar) wavelength and having great, satisfying sex.
Wishing you a flow of stimulating conversation,
Essin' Em
Once your communication is going and your juices are flowing, keep it safe! You may love condoms, you may hate them. But most of you probably do/have/will use them. If you want the best condoms that money can buy, this is where it's at. Crown's Skin Less Skin are fabulous; you (and my male partners have agreed with this statement) feel like you're riding bareback. Also, they seem to have way less of that skeevy latex smell that I associate with some brands of penis raincoats. They have a very high safety rating to boot. So let's see, they smell better, work better and feel better than any other condom I have EVER used, and they're around the same price as any other condom..what's not to love? Feel great and practice safer sex at the same time!

FIELD TRIP!!!!
Firstly, can I say how much it warms the cockles of my heart to see people's partners waiting with them in Planned Parenthood? Everyone should be involved in the contraception/birth control process, and show support for their partners.
Anyways, after a little bit of paper work to make sure we were at least 18 (it's on FDA approve for those 18 and over), and a quick chat with the RN to make sure we understood what it was and how to use it, we were the proud possessors of some Emergency Contraception in case of an emergency.
What a field trip :) And it helped that we got to stop and grab coffee (well, I'm more of a carmel apple cider girl myself) on the way back to the office.
Wishing you the best of luck in your exploits, and that you never have to use EC, but that you have it available,
