Candida Royalle is one of my favorite directors, and she didn’t let me down with this film. Sexy and empowered women have all kinds of mind blowing sex, some in couples, one by herself in the backroom of Babeland (yes, that amazing store makes a cameo on the movie), and a few in a delicious group sex scene at the end. Mmmm…and for those who like a bit of a plot thrown in, never fear. A sex therapist and a new reporter are on a quest for information about different types of sexualities, and they tie the film together (although sadly, only one gets tied up, but I suppose beggars can’t be choosers). So to recap; a decent plot, a fabulously sex-positive feminist director, gorgeous women, a plethora of sex toys, and outstanding orgasms? Check. This movie should be on everyone’s must see list!
